This custom app makes copying GPS data into other astronomy apps easy
I spent some time with a USB GPS device and wrote a custom app to read the data. Thanks to someone on hackster.io for writing a GPS data parser example, and someone else for writing some lat/long conversion. I now have this nice little tool for remote location finding. It works great with a receiver I picked up from amazon. It helps to quickly copy/paste data into a mount location editor in CPWI or Stellarium software. Launching Stellarium from command line arguments proved to be a challenge, but that works too.
